Buc-ee’s EXPLOSION Hits New States!

Buc-ee's

Setting a new standard for retail service, Buc-ee’s explosive expansion across the U.S. is unfolding with record-breaking travel centers opening at a rapid pace.

The beloved travel center chain, famous for its immaculate bathrooms and Texas-sized offerings, is rapidly expanding beyond the Lone Star State with massive new locations that create hundreds of American jobs in small towns and cities alike.

The chain store opened its largest travel center ever in Luling, Texas, on June 10, replacing the original store built in 2003.

The massive new location spans over 75,000 square feet, featuring 120 fueling positions and becoming the crown jewel in the company’s growing empire of 50 stores across Texas and the South.

Stan Beard of Buc-ee’s expressed his enthusiasm for the milestone:

“We are thrilled to open the doors to the world’s largest Buc-ee’s travel center right here in the great state of Texas. It’s particularly exciting, considering this is the Buc-ee’s that started it all, so we are really looking forward to celebrating with the incredible people of Luling.”

The Luling mega-store exemplifies how American businesses can thrive through excellence rather than relying on government handouts.

The new location will employ at least 200 people with competitive pay and benefits, bringing valuable jobs to the local economy.

Local leaders, including the Mayor of Luling and the Caldwell County Judge, will attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate this economic boost to their community.

Just two weeks later, on June 24, Buc-ee’s opened another travel center in Smiths Grove, Kentucky, marking its second location in that state.

At 53,000 square feet with 120 fueling positions, this store makes Smiths Grove the smallest town to host a Buc-ee’s, proving the company’s commitment to bringing opportunity to rural America.

In the Kentucky opening, U.S. Senator Rand Paul attended, underscoring the importance of this business expansion to the state.

This travel center will also create at least 200 jobs with competitive wages and benefits, reinforcing Buc-ee’s reputation as a job creator rather than a job taker.

Since 2019, Buc-ee’s has aggressively expanded beyond Texas to states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Colorado.

The company is now expanding into Virginia and Mississippi, with additional locations planned in Arizona, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Ohio through 2027.

The first Buc-ee’s outside Texas opened in Johnstown, Colorado in 2024, while Texas itself currently boasts 36 locations.

Nine new stores are in development across the country, including two more in Texas.

The company’s ability to grow without government subsidies or special treatment demonstrates the power of the free market and the effectiveness of consumer choice.

Founded in 1982, Buc-ee’s has become a quintessential American success story through its commitment to cleanliness, quality, and exceptional customer service.

Its travel centers have become destinations in themselves, known for pristine restrooms, diverse food options, and distinctive merchandise that celebrates American culture.

As corporate America increasingly embraces woke politics, Buc-ee’s focuses on what matters: Creating jobs, serving customers, and expanding opportunity across America’s heartland.

The company’s growth trajectory proves that traditional American values of hard work and quality service continue to resonate with consumers from coast to coast.
