Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) is shattering the radical Left’s “crazy” rhetoric by defending the most basic thing: common sense.

The maverick senator blasted members of his own party for opposing a military parade celebrating the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary and for comparing it to Nazi displays.
“There was no goose-stepping, and… first of all, stop ever comparing anyone, anything, to the Nazis and those kinds of things. That’s crazy,” Fetterman said, rejecting the unhinged rhetoric that has become commonplace among progressives.
His remarks have exposed the anti-American sentiment growing within the progressive ranks of the Democrat Party.
Fetterman found himself in the crosshairs of his own party after attending a “No Kings Day” rally in Philadelphia, where fellow Democrats booed him.
Rather than backing down, the senator directly confronted the hostility from the progressive wing that has increasingly dominated Democrat Party messaging.
“I’m not sure why Democrats would boo a fellow Democrat, but that’s their prerogative,” Fetterman stated.
He highlighted the growing divide between traditional Democrats and the radical Left. His straightforward reaction reveals how far the party has drifted from mainstream American views.
Fetterman reserved his strongest criticism for fellow Democrats who compared a standard military parade commemorating the Army’s 250th anniversary to Nazi displays.
The senator’s break with the radical elements of his party extended beyond military parades.
He also took a firm stance supporting Israel while many Democrats have embraced anti-Israel positions.
Fetterman declared his opposition to Senator Bernie Sanders’ “No War Against Iran Act,” which would tie America’s hands in responding to Iranian aggression.
“I am always going to stand with Israel through this,” Fetterman affirmed, showing a rare position among Democrats who have increasingly abandoned America’s strongest Middle East ally in favor of terrorist sympathizers.
Fetterman’s warnings about Iran’s nuclear ambitions demonstrate clear-eyed foreign policy thinking that has become increasingly rare in today’s Democrat Party.
He emphasized the necessity of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and stated his intention to vote against measures that would prevent military action against Iran without congressional approval.
On immigration, Fetterman supports deporting criminal illegal aliens. However, he is in favor of letting law-abiding immigrants remain in the country.
Fetterman’s willingness to buck his party’s most radical elements suggests growing awareness among some Democrats that their party has moved too far left for mainstream America.
His criticism of extreme rhetoric represents a rare acknowledgment that Democrat ranks are moving away from the majority’s thinking.
