(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi found himself in the right place at the right time this week when he stepped in to save a suicidal woman on the verge of jumping off a bridge in Nashville.

Watch the video below this post.

According to Fox News Digital, the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer was filming a music video on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge when he noticed a woman in a “moment of crisis.”

Video footage captured the moment when the rock star approached to talk to the woman.

Shortly after, Bon Jovi and the fellow good samaritan helped pull the woman over the railing and away from danger.

After the woman was back on the pedestrian path, she and Bon Jovi hugged.

Metro Nashville Police Department officials shared on X, “A shout out to @jonbonjovi & his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night.”

The post continued, “Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.”

“It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,” Chief John Drake added.

This is not the first time Bon Jovi has helped others. In 2006, he created the JBJ Soul Foundation, which aims to recognize and maximize the human potential of those affected by hunger, poverty, and homelessness.

This foundation also offers assistance in establishing programs that provide food and affordable housing while supporting social services and job training programs.

Moreover, what started as a small initiative in Philadelphia has grown into an operation spanning 12 states, assisting thousands of people, including youth and veterans, according to the nonprofit.

“The Soul Foundation’s expanded mission helps those in need of a warm, nutritious meal and now operates three JBJ Soul Kitchens in New Jersey,” the foundation stated.
