(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Justice has been served as a disgraced CIA sexual predator who drugged and sexually abused numerous women in multiple countries over 14 years has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
48-year-old Brian Jeffrey Raymond was found with over 500 disturbing images and videos of his victims. He received a lengthy sentence after pleading guilty in November 2023 to four out of 25 charges.
According to the Department of Justice (DOJ) these include sexual abuse, abusive sexual contact, coercion and enticement, and transportation of obscene material,
Raymond also admitted to “drugging and then creating obscene material depicting 28 women without their knowledge or permission and drugging two other women,” with some images showing him groping and straddling his nude, unconscious victims.
“It’s safe to say he’s a sexual predator,” said U.S. Senior Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly during the sentencing. “You are going to have a period of time to think about this.”
Kollar-Kotelly condemned Raymond for his criminal acts and stated that he betrayed his government and his country.
Raymond, originally from San Diego, served in the CIA for over 20 years after completing internships at the White House and in Congress.
Moreover, court documents reveal that the sexual predator was stationed with the CIA in Mexico, Peru, and other locations between 2006 and 2020.
While the specifics of his work were not detailed, it involved multiple countries where he assaulted women. He targeted women through dating apps or casual meetings, some of whom he had known for nearly 20 years as “platonic friends.”
During this time, Raymond lured “unsuspecting women to his government-leased housing and drugged them,” according to US Attorney Matthew M. Graves.
In addition, Raymond’s crimes first came to light in May 2020 when Mexico City police responded to reports of a naked woman screaming for help from the balcony of a CIA officer’s apartment.
The former CIA officer told police the situation was consensual. However, he returned to the U.S. the next day as the COVID-19 lockdown began.
Investigators were soon on his trail and obtained a warrant to search his phones.
Raymond then “attempted to delete the explicit photographs and videos depicting the victims after learning about the criminal investigation,” but investigators recovered over 500 images and videos, court documents reveal.
He was arrested in San Diego in October 2020 and has been held without bail in a DC jail for the past four years.
