BREAKING VIDEO: Biden Impeachment Announced

( – BREAKING NEWS NOW: Submitting to the demands of many of his fellow Republicans and millions of Americans, just moments ago, United States House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced that the House of Representatives will initiate impeachment proceedings against President Joe Biden.

You can watch a video of McCarthy’s announcement at the bottom of this post.

McCarthy disclosed that House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) will spearhead the investigation. He will work collaboratively with House Oversight Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO).

During his brief three-minute address, McCarthy refrained from answering journalists’ inquiries. Although he had previously communicated to Breitbart that the impeachment inquiry would be launched following a floor vote, it appears he will move forward without a vote.

He detailed accusations against Biden, citing “abuse of power, obstruction, and corruption,” as reported by multiple Republican-led committees scrutinizing the president.

Previously, Fox News affirmed that McCarthy would notify House Republicans that commencing an impeachment investigation against Biden was the rational subsequent action. The initiation of an inquiry signifies the beginning of the impeachment procedure, where evidence is collated for the articles, or the charges, against a public figure.

The House GOP caucus has scheduled a conference on Thursday morning where prominent committee leaders will present their recent discoveries and update the status of the probes into the Biden family. Committee heads overseeing the investigation will update the general members.

Responding to McCarthy’s proclamation, White House spokesperson Ian Sams denounced the initiative as being driven by politics.

“House Republicans have been investigating the President for 9 months, and they’ve turned up no evidence of wrongdoing. His own GOP members have said so. He vowed to hold a vote to open impeachment, now he flip-flopped because he doesn’t have support. Extreme politics at its worst,” Sams posted on X, previously known as Twitter.
