(GoRealNewsNow.com) – In a new sign of the Biden White House’s desperation over its multiple policy crises and failures, it is now dispatching Vice President Kamala Harris on a nationwide tour to tout abortion, hoping to convince Americans to back Joe Biden in the 2024 election.

“This [the right to abortion] is an issue that I do believe will be resolved in November of next year. Because I know the American people fight for freedom and believe in the woman’s right to make decisions about her own body,” Harris told the MSNBC program “The Last Word” on Tuesday.

“None of the other issues are binary but this one is. On the one hand, there are people like President Joe Biden and me who trust women to make decisions in their best interest – and women can trust us to protect their fundamental freedoms. And on the other hand, you have people who have the gall to tell women – even survivors or rape and incest – that they don’t have the right to make decisions about what happens to their body. There is going to be a clear choice on this issue,” the vice president elaborated.

Harris’s pro-abortion campaign will commence in Wisconsin on January 22, coinciding with what would have been the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the historic Supreme Court decision that had previously established legal abortion across the United States, AP reports, as cited by Breitbart News.

In a significant shift, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022 through the Dobbs case, determining that the Constitution does not encompass a right to abortion and thus relegating the matter of abortion legislation and regulation back to the states.

Vice President Harris has been a vocal advocate on this issue, repeatedly referencing the decision in her political narrative.

“I will continue to fight for our fundamental freedoms while bringing together those throughout America who agree that every woman should have the right to make decisions about her own body — not the government,” she stated, as she outlined her plans for the national tour.

Wisconsin, a pivotal swing state, has been particularly affected by fluctuating abortion access in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling.

Further details on Harris’s tour have yet to be disclosed as she prepares to play a prominent role in the political dialogue leading up to the 2024 election.
