(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Shocking video footage showed the major effort from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as they carried out a precise strike against a senior Hezbollah member in southern Lebanon.

A source from the New York Post reported that Ali Jamal al-Din Jawad, a commander of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit, was killed when an Israeli drone targeted his vehicle in the village of Aabba.
The attack was captured on video and showed Jawad’s car being hit by a missile, erupting into flames and scattering debris on the road.
The IDF said his killing is a “significant blow” to Hezbollah’s capabilities to carry out attacks on Israel.
Furthermore, this operation followed a series of drone attacks by Hezbollah on northern Israel, one of which wounded two IDF soldiers and started a fire.
According to the IDF, one of the drones was intercepted by air defenses, while the others impacted in the Mount Meron area, causing no injuries.
In response, the outlet reported that the IDF also struck a Hezbollah facility in Kafr Kila with fighter jets.
Hezbollah, recognized as a terrorist organization by many countries, including the United States, confirmed Jawad’s death.
The group has faced significant losses since it intensified attacks against Israel on October 8 in support of Hamas. This escalation followed Hamas’ attacks on Israel starting October 7.
Additionally, the ongoing exchanges have increased regional tensions, with both Hezbollah and Iran vowing retaliation for recent killings of their leaders.
This persistent conflict has displaced tens of thousands of people in both northern Israel and southern Lebanon.
