(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Things are more heated than ever and according to NBC News this whole situation is setting the stage for an intense showdown as Former President Donald Trump is currently enjoying what’s been named his “biggest lead” over Joe Biden according to a poll displayed on NBC News this Sunday as numbers show Trump more than doubling his lead from last year marking a significant shift in voter sentiment.
NBC journalist Steve Kornacki broke down the details during a “Meet the Press” segment. “For the first time in November, Donald Trump pulled ahead in our poll, and now, at five points, this is the biggest lead NBC has ever had in 16 polls for Donald Trump over Joe Biden,” Kornacki reported. In November 2023 Trump was leading over Biden by 2 points only.
“Remember, 2019, 2020, Joe Biden led,” Kornacki said. “He led big in every single one of our polls.” However the tables have turned and Biden’s approval ratings are not helping his case. Kornacki pointed out Biden’s current standing at 37 percent approval and 60 percent disapproval.
The RealClearPolitics (RCP) polling average also reflects Trump’s lead over Biden by 2.1 points surpassing his performance against Biden in the last two elections and even his narrow leads over Hillary Clinton in 2016. This turned out to be historic as Trump never led over Biden in the past.
Last but not least we still have to talk about the GOP primary race as former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley is still trying to take the GOP from the hands of Trump, but despite her best efforts she is still destined to fail or at least that’s what Kornacki thins will happen as polls and vote results remain in favor of Trump.
