A group of at least 10 people gathered around the collapsed hole in an attempt to rescue the trapped youngsters, as shown on footage that was given with NBC Miami by a witness. The length of the children’s captivity is still unknown, therefore the rescue operations were questionable.

The youngster was determined to have no pulse after being extracted from the hole, and she was immediately sent to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. According to King, she was pronounced dead at the hospital after efforts to revive her failed.

Maddox Mattingly, the oldest sibling, was taken to the hospital in need of medical attention as well. Thankfully, he is now receiving the required care and his condition is stable.

To determine precisely what occurred and what caused this catastrophe, authorities are presently looking into the matter.
