(GoRealNewsNow.com) – In a blistering new attack on Donald Trump, this time coming from the Never-Trumper right rather than the left, a conservative commentator has predicted that the former president will use his potential second White House term to set up “concentration camps.”

The wild prognosis about Trump’s plans comes from political commentator Charlie Sykes, the editor-in-chief of The Bulwark, a website known for its anti-Trump stance.

Sykes spoke on the MSNBC “Morning Joe” program (see video below), where he was presented as a “conservative commentator.”

The Never-Trumper claimed that the 45th president of the United States was preparing for a regime change in his potential second term.

“Donald Trump is laying out what Trump 2.0 would be,” he stated.

Sykes insisted that Trump’s admiration for leaders like Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban exposed the former president’s affinity towards various “authoritarian thugs.”

“His admiration for Chairman Mao, his admiration for [Chinese] President Xi [Jinping] and [Russian President] Vladimir Putin is intense, to turn the government into a weapon of revenge and retribution, the plans — the detailed plans — for mass deportations and concentration camps,” the commentator added.

Emphasizing the gravity of the situation, Sykes suggested that Trump is serious about these ideas and increasingly vocal about them.

He likened Trump to “a clown with a flamethrower.” He claimed the former president was intensifying his rhetoric, openly indicating his intent to rule as an “authoritarian” if he wins the 2024 election.

This discussion stemmed from Trump’s recent pledge on Truth Social, where he vowed to eliminate his political adversaries.

“In honor of our great Veterans on Veteran’s [sic] Day, we pledge to you that we will root out the Communists, Marxists, Fascists, and Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our Country, lie, steal, and cheat on Elections, and will do anything possible, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America, and the American Dream,” Trump wrote.

“The threat from outside forces is far less sinister, dangerous, and grave, than the threat from within. Despite the hatred and anger of the Radical Left Lunatics who want to destroy our Country, we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.

Later, at a New Hampshire rally, he blasted “the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country.”

These remarks have sparked considerable criticism from liberal media comparing Trump to Hitler.
