King Charles ‘Was Moved to Tears’

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Confirming he is fiercely protective of his “beloved” daughter-in-law, the Princess of Wales, King Charles III “was moved to tears” when the princess made a video announcement of her battle with cancer.

Christopher Andersen, author of “The King” book, told a source that the monarch has been steadfast in supporting Kate Middleton. She recently disclosed her cancer diagnosis and has since maintained a low profile while undergoing chemotherapy.

Andersen noted that “Charles was moved to tears by Kate’s stunning video announcement that she has cancer” and viewed her as essential to the future of the monarchy.

A spokesperson from Kensington Palace confirmed that Middleton will resume her official duties “when she is cleared to do so by her medical team.”

Moreover, the Princess of Wales has faced scrutiny in the past for not engaging in as many public duties as other royals, such as the late Queen Elizabeth II or Princess Anne.

However, Andersen explained, “It has always been Kate’s choice to prioritize her children’s well-being over royal duties. In the past, Charles has remained silent about this and allowed the sniping from the sidelines to continue. But no more. Now the king brooks no criticism of Kate, period.”

Earlier this year, Buckingham Palace disclosed that King Charles was diagnosed with cancer during a procedure for “benign prostate enlargement.” Following further tests, “Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” stated the palace.

Middleton revealed her own cancer diagnosis in a heartfelt video, describing her surgery as “major” and requesting “time, space, and privacy” for her treatment.

In response, Charles expressed his admiration, saying he is “so proud of Catherine for her courage in speaking as she did.”

Middleton spoke to her commitment to her roles and her hope to return to them once she is ready: “My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to being back when I am able. But for now, I must focus on making a full recovery,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Charles has resumed his royal duties and will be hosting an upcoming state visit with the emperor and empress of Japan in June.
