(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Early this week, the Washington, D.C., headquarters of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) was defaced with red spray paint, including the words “F*** Israel” on the front and side of the building.

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department released video footage showing three masked individuals vandalizing the building and causing property damage around 12:41 a.m.

The police department stated that the investigation is ongoing and they are “asking for the community’s help to identify the suspects involved in a Destruction of Property offense in Northwest.”

Moreover, spokesperson Marshall Wittmann told Jewish Insider, “We will not be deterred by the illegal actions of fringe, anti-Israel extremists in our efforts to strengthen the US-Israel relationship.”

Palestine Action, a global network known for targeting properties linked to Israel, claimed responsibility for the vandalism.

They said, “AIPAC is a corrupt foreign organization that plugs and plays the morally bankrupt American politician like a game of monopoly while American taxpayers pay for the weapons that are being dropped in Gaza.”

The Anti-Defamation League condemned the actions, calling the vandalism and accusations of dual loyalty “pure antisemitism” and urged the D.C. police to “fully investigate” the incident.

In addition, this vandalism is part of a series of anti-Israel actions affecting the D.C. Jewish community since the October 7 Hamas attacks in Israel.

Last month, thousands of protesters defaced Columbus Circle, outside Union Station, with pro-Hamas messages, replaced American flags with Palestinian flags, and burned American flags during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress.

On The George Washington University campus, anti-Israel protesters set up several illegal encampments in late April, demanding the university sever ties with Israel.

After weeks of protests, which included a campus police officer being pushed, D.C. police dismantled the encampment the night before a House panel was set to question Mayor Muriel Bowser about her handling of the situation.

A DCPD spokesperson asserted that hate crimes are “unacceptable and is the reason everyone must work together not just to address allegations of hate crimes, but also to proactively educate the public about hate crimes.”
