BREAKING NOW: Trump Prosecutor Targeted

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – The Democrat Georgia DA who indicted Donald Trump earlier this week is headed for big trouble as a Republican state lawmaker has targeted her and initiated the state’s impeachment process.

In what became the fourth Democrat-led indictment of the former president, on Monday, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and a Georgia grand jury charged him and 18 others with racketeering and conspiracy in an alleged attempt to subvert the state’s 2020 election.

However, reacting to Trump’s indictment, Georgia state Sen. Colton Moore (R) made the first step towards Willis’ impeachment, according to a memo reported by Breitbart News.

Moore laid out his plan in a letter to Georgia’s Republican Governor, Brian Kemp, a former Trump ally who fell out with the-then president in the wake of the 2020 election.

The state senator said he was initiating an emergency legislative session to investigate the DA’s actions comprehensively.

The report emphasizes that his probe could translate into defunding Willis’ investigation of Trump and even her impeachment.

“We must strip all funding and, if appropriate, impeach Fani Willis,” Moore declared in a statement.

“As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis,” he added.

“America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors weaponize their elected offices to politically target their opponents,” the GOP Georgia legislator elaborated.

The emergency special session of Georgia’s legislation could occur in two ways: if the governor calls it or if three-fifths of both chambers sign a letter to that end.

Moore’s letter to Kemp showed he chose the latter option.

“Dear Governor Kemp: We, the undersigned, being duly elected members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate, and comprising 3/5 of each respective house… hereby certify to you… that in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened under that section, for all purposes, to include, without limitation, the review and response to the actions of Fani Willis,” the memo states.

Cliff Maloney, who runs America First Georgia campaigns, told Breitbart that Moore’s actions represent “the only initiative in Georgia to block Trump’s prosecution.”
