Bombshell Note Found in Trump Attempted Assassination Case

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – A bombshell discovery revealed that the wannabe assassin who tried to shoot GOP nominee Donald Trump wrote in a disturbing note months prior to the incident that he intended to kill him.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) reported that Ryan Wesley Routh dropped this note—addressed “To the World”—in a box at an unnamed individual’s home before his thwarted assassination attempt on September 15 at the West Palm Beach golf course.

A federal prosecutors court filing stated, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you.”

“I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job,” it continued.

The note criticized Trump, claiming:

“Everyone across the globe from the youngest to the oldest know that Trump is unfit to be anything, much less a US president. US presidents must at bare minimum embody the moral fabric that is America and be kind, caring and selfless and always stand for humanity,”

Moreover, this handwritten letter came to light only after the recipient opened the box and alerted the authorities following Routh’s arrest. Inside the box were also “ammunition, a metal pipe, miscellaneous building materials, tools, four phones,” and several other letters.

It is unclear if Routh wrote the note believing the assassination attempt would fail or if it referred to a different plan. Details from the letter were included in a detention memo filed, as the DOJ argued that Routh should remain in custody until his trial.

Additionally, the wannabe assassin was arrested after a Secret Service agent spotted the barrel of an AK-style rifle protruding from the bushes near the golf course. The agent opened fire before Routh could take a shot at Trump.

Routh dropped his rifle and fled in an SUV, leaving behind his firearm, two backpacks, and a GoPro camera. He was arrested about 40 minutes later on Interstate 95 in Martin County, Florida.

Authorities who searched Routh’s vehicle discovered six cell phones, one of which showed a Google search for directions from Palm Beach County to Mexico.

In turn, FBI analysis revealed that the cellphones were in the vicinity of Trump’s golf course multiple times between August 18 and September 15.

Investigators also found a list with dates in August, September, and October, along with venues where Trump had appeared or was scheduled to appear.
