(GoRealNewsNow.com) – An increasing number of elected Democrats are expressing extreme frustration with Joe Biden due to his southern border strategies amidst the ongoing illegal alien crisis, which has significantly impacted numerous cities across the United States.

From Massachusetts to Arizona, The New York Post has reported that seven notable Democrats and one independent representative have expressed that Bien should enhance efforts to regulate the movement of illegals into U.S. cities.

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey recently emphasized that her state has taken the initiative in the absence of federal intervention. Last week, she proclaimed a state of emergency in her state due to the escalating migrant situation. In a communication to federal authorities, she stated, “Massachusetts has stepped up to address what sadly has been a federal crisis of inaction that is many years in the making.”

In Chicago, an influential figure has called upon Biden to inspect the heavily populated migrant facilities in the city personally. As per The Post, Chicago was among the primary destinations for migrants in the U.S. the previous week. In a public letter addressed to the president last month, Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez said, “I invite you to see firsthand what we are forced to do while waiting for [U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services] to take the steps necessary to move the needle on this crisis.” He continued by highlighting that the city is being stretched thin because of the perceived tepid response from the Homeland Security Department.

Savannah Viar, the Republican National Congressional Committee spokesperson, commented in a phone conversation on Monday, “They were ignoring this crisis that’s been going since Joe Biden took office.” She added, “In Joe Biden’s America, every state is a border state. Now that their backyards have become the border because this crisis has gotten so out of hand under the Democrats, they’re now acting like they always supported securing the border.” Viar opined that the policies of New York City and Massachusetts, which mandate providing shelter to migrants, have intensified the border situation.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who initially claimed he’d greet migrants with “open arms,” now alleges the federal government has neglected the city during its struggle with a significant humanitarian challenge, which might burden taxpayers with a $12 billion expense.

Eric Ruark, from NumbersUSA, conveyed to The Post that the expressed concerns of sanctuary mayors might influence President Biden’s actions. Regarding criticism from Republican figures, he mentioned that the usual response from the Biden administration tends to be dismissive.

After insisting that the federal government should cover the costs related to migrants, Mayor Adams met senior presidential advisor Tom Perez.

NBC reported that U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) described the president’s border policies as “dumb.” Other Arizona representatives, including Governor Katie Hobbs and Rep. Ruben Gallegos, have requested more assistance from the president in response to the notable rise in unauthorized border entries.

U.S. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) expressed her disappointment with the Biden administration in May, stating, “D.C. has shown little regard for the actual crisis that’s occurring in Arizona.”

In the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. offered his critique, stating, “We should have closed the border.”
