(GoRealNewsNow.com) – An elderly White House staffer has been attacked – and by no other than President Joe Biden’s dog Commander – with the incident exposed to the world only because it was caught on film by a tourist at the White House gift shop.

See the photo below of Commander attacking the staffer.

Biden’s German shepherd is known to have bitten about a dozen US Secret Service agents providing security to the first family.

However, the new incident saw the dog bite Dale Haney, the White House grounds superintendent, The Daily Mail reports based on photos obtained from a White House tourist.

On September 13, the unnamed tourist was at the gift shop when he saw Haney playing with Commander in the White House gardens.

The visitor began taking photos of the 2-year-old dog, thus catching the moment when the dog bit Haney, who was wearing the lanyard.

“I was really just wanting to take pictures of the dog, it’s the next best thing to seeing the president after all,” the tourist told the news outlet.

“Commander was bouncing around. He seemed very lively, high spirited and playful. He’s a good-looking dog. I only realized he had actually bitten the groundskeeper who was out there with him later when I saw the picture with his teeth quite clearly round the man’s wrist and arm,” the visitor explained.

The Mail informs that Haney has worked at the White House for over 50 years and often walks the presidential pets – beginning in the 1970s with King Timahoe, the Irish Setter of President Richard Nixon.

Last August, Haney was seen walking Biden’s dog, Commander, in a picture taken by a photo agency.

The latest White House biting report comes after on Monday, presidential sources claimed that the dog only attacks security agents due to their “unfriendly expressions.”

A week earlier, Commander allegedly bit another Secret Service Agent, who had to seek medical help.

The Mail stresses that the attack on the elderly staffer casts doubt on the White House explanations about the canine’s behavior since Haney is a groundskeeper, “not a gun-carrying member of the president’s security detail.”

Commander’s most serious attack occurred in November 2022 when a Secret Service officer had to be hospitalized with arm and thigh injuries.
