(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Ramping up their operations, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage showing a Gazan terrorist armed with a Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG) getting ‘eliminated’ while trying to escape from a tunnel.

According to their press release in Hebrew, the IDF said this happened during “a combined divisional attack” by Israeli forces near the Gazan cities of Deir al-Balah and al-Bureij Ba’al.
Joe Truzman, a Senior Research Analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, tweeted the video and noted that the gunman seemed to be carrying “what looks like a GoPro.”
“He was eliminated before he could carry out an attack. Hamas won’t be making propaganda videos on this attempted attack,” Truzman added.
In addition, the video showed the terrorist climbing out of his hideout, ready to launch a rocket from his RPG. Just before he could do it, the area around him was hit, likely by IDF fire.
While the gunman ducked and tried to climb back down the tunnel, a direct hit into the tunnel was seen.
The video then showed how close the tunnel was to the Israeli forces’ position.
As per a press release, the IDF stated that its soldiers “are making progress in fighting underground and have so far destroyed a number of tunnel routes.”
