(GoRealNewsNow.com) – In a decision garnering support from millions of Americans, the Republicans in the United States House of Representatives have confirmed their intent to target the entire Biden family for investigation of potential illegal activities.
National Review reported that just 48 hours after the House Oversight Committee released bank records suggesting the President’s family gained financial benefits from Russian and Ukrainian magnates during Joe Biden’s tenure as Vice President, the committee’s chair, James Comer (R., Ky.), declared his aim to issue subpoenas to all Biden family members.
On a Fox News Business segment, Comer stated, “This is always going to end with the Bidens coming in front of the committee. We are going to subpoena the family. Obviously, with all the opposition and obstruction we’re getting from the Biden attorneys now, we know that this is going to end up in court when we subpoena the Bidens. So we’re putting together a case, and I think we’ve done that very well.”
Based on updated information, the committee alleges they’ve identified over $20 million transferred from foreign sources to the Bidens and their close business connections.
In a prior disclosure, Comer referenced the confidential testimony of Hunter Biden’s business colleague, Devon Archer. He mentioned, “During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine.” Comer added, “It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself. And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered. This is made clear by meals at Café Milano where then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son.”
Comer also remarked, “It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business activities and permitted himself to be ‘the brand’ used to financially benefit the Biden family during his Vice Presidential term.”
Earlier in July, Devon Archer, who used to be in business with Hunter Biden, asserted that then-Vice President Biden took part in around 20 phone calls with Hunter’s overseas business partners. Comer found this testimony pivotal, causing him to reconsider his previous reluctance to subpoena the Bidens. He is now confident that his request “would stand up in any court of law in America,” as shared with Fox.
In a later discussion with Fox’s Sean Hannity, Comer emphasized, “They [the family] didn’t do anything. They used Joe Biden and what we’re seeing is Joe Biden actually provided things of value in return for that money. Look at Ukraine. It’s becoming crystal clear that he went and fired the prosecutor that was looking into his son’s questionable energy company there.”
In defense, the White House labeled Comer’s allegations as “innuendo and lies.” White House representative Ian Sams responded, “Comer and his fellow extreme Republicans in Congress are now admitting they haven’t uncovered any proof of involvement or wrongdoing by President Biden. They simply will continue to spread innuendo and lies as they pursue a baseless impeachment stunt to attack the President.”
