‘They Should Be Ashamed of Themselves’

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not hold back during his speech to Congress, as he labeled anti-Israel protesters as “useful idiots” who “should be ashamed of themselves.”

“Defeating our brutal enemies requires both courage and clarity,” Netanyahu said. “Clarity begins by knowing the difference between good and evil.”

He added, “Yet, incredibly, many anti-Israel protesters choose to stand with evil. They stand with Hamas. They stand with rapists and murderers.”

He continued:

“[T]hey stand with people who come into the kibbutzim — into the home — with the parents and the children, the two babies in the secret attic, and murder the parents, find the secret latch to the attic, find the babies, and they murder them. These protesters stand with them. They should be ashamed of themselves.”

The Prime Minister pointed out that many anti-Israel activists view Hamas terrorism as legitimate resistance while condemning Israel’s retaliatory actions as excessive.

“…When the tyrants of Tehran who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their hair are praising, promoting, and funding you, you have officially become Iran’s useful idiots,” he added.

He also emphasized that these protesters are not only against Israel but also against America as they burnt American flags even on the Fourth of July.

After some “U-S-A” chants from the audience, Netanyahu turned his attention to Iran, referencing a recent claim by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines that Iran has been funding campus protests in the U.S.

“For all we know, Iran is funding the anti-Israel protests that are going on right now outside this building,” he said.

Additionally, members of the House Education and Workforce Committee, investigating alleged antisemitic harassment at colleges, reacted positively to Netanyahu’s speech.

Representative Virginia Foxx (R-NC) said she discussed campus antisemitism with Netanyahu right after his address. “This is not just antisemitism; it’s anti-Americanism,” she said.

Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who asked the question that led to Netanyahu’s comments about “depends on the context,” also praised the Prime Minister’s speech on X.

“Thank you @netanyahu for delivering the message to the pro-Hamas antisemites who appease terrorists and facilitate hatred and violence against the Jewish people,” Stefanik wrote. “It does NOT depend on the context.”
