(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Rapper and business mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of grooming and is facing another sexual assault lawsuit, the eighth in a series filed against him since November 2023.
Former adult film actor Adria English claimed that Combs groomed her and coerced her into having sex with guests at his parties. She also alleged he made her consume alcohol and ecstasy.
While the rapper denied these allegations, his lawyer, Jonathan Davis, stated, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”
“We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court,” he added.
In addition, English’s lawsuit claims that “Combs groomed Plaintiff into sex trafficking over time,” during events between 2004 and 2009. She declared she was hired to attend one of Combs’ “white parties” in 2004, which she thought had “no sinister intent or requirements for physical sexual contact.”
Thus, she accepted invitations to more parties. But at the third event, Combs allegedly forced her to have sex with guests, saying they knew about her past in adult entertainment and used it against her. The lawsuit also named other individuals and companies as defendants.
Other allegations against Combs began in November when his ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, accused him of rape and physical abuse. That lawsuit was settled the next day, though Combs had to apologize after footage of him assaulting Cassie in 2016 was leaked in May.
Since then, Joi Dickerson-Neal, Rodney Jones Jr, April Lampros and Crystal McKinney have filed lawsuits alleging sexual assault, along with two unnamed women.
Once again, the rapper has denied all allegations. He is also named in a lawsuit against his son Christian “King” Combs, which a lawyer for both men called a “lewd and meritless claim.”
Consequently, his reputation has suffered, as New York mayor Eric Adams recently demanded Combs return the ceremonial key to the city he was awarded in September 2023.
