(GoRealNewsNow.com) – A scandalous and concerning report has revealed that the Biden-Harris administration has lost track of over 320,000 illegal children who crossed the border alone.

The Homeland Security Inspector General’s report exposed that many of these children—who were released into the U.S. with “qualified sponsors”—are now at risk of being exploited for sex trafficking, forced labor, and other abuses.

As of May 2024, there are 291,000 illegal children who arrived in the U.S. as unaccompanied minors and were released without a set date for immigration court, making it impossible to track them.

According to the 14-page report covering October 2018 to September 2023, 32,000 children who were given hearing dates by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) never showed up in court.

Moreover, when illegal children cross the border and are taken in by HHS, they are matched with a sponsor in the U.S. This sponsor does not have to be a family member, and the vetting process is often done over the phone, without a face-to-face meeting with Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) officials.

“At the very beginning of the Biden administration, they stripped all the vetting out of the process,” Tara Rodas, who was recruited as a federal government employee to help the HHS, said.

Rodas described a disturbing case she witnessed where a 16-year-old girl was placed with a sponsor who claimed to be her older brother. The sponsor was inappropriately touching her, and she appeared drugged and as if she was for sale on the sponsor’s social media.

Rodas also pointed out that some sponsors, who are not family members, have been found to be hosting multiple illegal children, which she called a “red flag.”

Dr. Jason Piccolo, a retired federal agent who previously exposed the release of unaccompanied children to potential criminals, said the new revelations about the missing children are “deeply concerning.”

Reports have surfaced that some of these children are working in exploitative conditions, such as in slaughterhouses and factories.

Furthermore, Rodas mentioned that the children themselves are not properly “vetted,” and she has seen cases where adults fraudulently pose as minors to go through the process.

According to the government watchdog report, only one of eight audited ICE offices “attempted to locate” the missing children.

“Nobody at DHS is actually looking,” asserted Rodas.
