Amnesty for THESE 300,000 Illegals?!

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Despite the wave of crime spurred by the illegals he has let into America, Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has extended and redefined a temporary amnesty program for over 300,000 illegal Haitians residing in the country.

This move ensures they are shielded from deportation and can continue working in American jobs.

Last week, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced the extension and redefinition of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for approximately 309,000 illegal Haitians living in the U.S. who would otherwise face deportation.

Shockingly, this decision reflects Biden’s administration’s intent to absurdly expand TPS, which previously covered about 165,000 Haitians.

With this latest extension and redefinition, nearly double the number of illegal Haitians can now stay in the U.S. legally and hold American jobs until February 2026, provided they can prove they were in the country as of June 3, 2024.

Mayorkas said in a statement, “We are providing this humanitarian relief to Haitians already present in the United States given the conditions that existed in their home country as of June 3, 2024.”

“In doing so, we are realizing the core objective of the TPS law and our obligation to fulfill it,” he added.

Furthermore, the TPS originated under the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1990 (INA), preventing federal immigration authorities from deporting individuals from countries facing severe challenges like famine, war, or natural disasters.

Since the Clinton administration, TPS has effectively served as an amnesty program, continuously renewed by successive leftist administrations, including Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, and now Biden, covering various countries.

Currently, nearly 900,000 illegals in the U.S. unfairly benefit from TPS protection against deportation, with the majority coming from Venezuela, Haiti, El Salvador, Honduras, and Ukraine.
