WATCH: AG Bondi Blasts Judges – Immigration Scandal

Pamela Bondi

Committed to America’s security, Attorney General Pam Bondi blasted judges over an immigration scandal after the FBI arrested them for helping illegal aliens evade federal law enforcement.

Watch the video below.

On one hand, Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan faces serious charges after she sneaked a previously deported criminal defendant out a back door to avoid ICE agents.

On the other hand, former New Mexico Judge Joel Cano was arrested for harboring a Venezuelan gang member.

FBI agents detained Dugan on charges of obstruction of an official proceeding and concealing an individual to prevent discovery and arrest.

Dugan, a Democrat-backed judge first elected in 2016, helped Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, a Mexican illegal facing domestic violence charges who had previously been deported in 2013, evade waiting immigration agents.

According to federal authorities, when Dugan learned ICE agents were waiting in her courtroom to take Flores-Ruiz into custody, she became visibly angry.

She directed Flores-Ruiz and his attorney to exit through a restricted jury door, deliberately bypassing the public area where agents were stationed.

FBI Director Kash Patel condemned Dugan’s actions, stating that “the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public.”

Though the criminal was eventually captured after a foot chase, the incident has sparked national outrage among law enforcement officials and patriots concerned about judicial activism protecting criminal illegal immigrants.

Attorney General Bondi reacted to these actions:

“No one’s above the laws in this country, And if you are destroying evidence, if you’re obstructing justice, when you have victims sitting in a courtroom of domestic violence and you’re escorting a criminal defendant out a back door, it will not be tolerated, and it is a crime in the United States of America. Doesn’t matter who you are, you’re going to be prosecuted.”

In a separate but equally troubling case, former New Mexico Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife were arrested for harboring an illegal alien linked to a Venezuelan gang.

The couple faces charges of evidence tampering in what appears to be a coordinated effort to shield the foreign national from deportation proceedings.

If convicted, Dugan faces up to six years in prison.

The case represents a significant escalation in the Trump administration’s efforts to prosecute officials who obstruct federal immigration enforcement.

Democrats have predictably criticized the arrests as “intimidation” of the judiciary, while Republicans emphasize that no one–not even judges–is above the law.

Bondi delivered a powerful warning to other judges who might consider similar actions:

“I think some of these judges think they are beyond and above the law and they are not, and we’re sending a very strong message today, If you are harboring a fugitive, we don’t care who you are. If you’re helping hide one, if you are giving a TDA member guns, anyone who is illegally in this country, we will come after you and we will prosecute you. We will find you.”

Moreover, the case resembles a 2019 incident in which a Massachusetts judge faced similar charges, though those were later dropped under the previous administration.

The message from federal authorities is clear: judicial robes do not protect those who break the law to shield illegal immigrants from justice.

Patriots across America are applauding this long-overdue enforcement action against activist judges who put political agendas above public safety and the rule of law.
