(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Two startling tarmac incidents at Boston Logan Airport left many questioning the state of airline safety as within hours, four planes collided in separate events, and witnesses labeled it a “chaotic mess.”

Now, authorities have launched an investigation to root out possible human error, technical failures, or procedural lapses to ensure it does not happen again.

The first collision involved an American Airlines jet arriving from London, which clipped the wing of a parked Frontier Airlines plane set to depart for Dallas, Fort Worth.

This incident did not cause injuries, but passengers and crew evacuated both planes for inspection, and the Frontier flight was canceled.

The second incident was equally shocking, involving a JetBlue aircraft colliding with a Cape Air plane during towing.

The Cape Air plane, carrying two pilots and three passengers, had just landed. The JetBlue plane was vacant at the time, and while no injuries were reported, both Cape Air pilots were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the airlines have commenced a comprehensive investigation into these alarming events.

Meanwhile, passengers described both scenes as unsettling, and some expressed their concerns about such negligence in busy travel hubs.

Video footage showed considerable damage to the Frontier plane’s wing beneath the American aircraft’s wing.

“That was terrible. It was very scary. All of a sudden, ‘thump.’ It sounded like something fell from below,” eyewitness Evelyn Pipione said.

Amid the chaos, passengers faced delays and cancellations, with JetBlue flights to Orlando delayed by three hours while a replacement plane was sourced.

This mishap notably affected many people’s plans, raising questions about the airport’s capacity to handle such a critical level of air traffic responsibly.

“It [was] just red lights everywhere. It looks like the front top of the Cape Air plane got smushed. It was a chaotic mess,” another witness recounted.
