(GoRealNewsNow.com) – On Wednesday, in a televised interview, Vice President Kamala Harris claimed she would remain President Joe Biden’s running mate in the 2024 election even though Biden has made no official announcement about his decision to run or whether he will keep Harris as his running mate.
Despite recent rumors suggesting that Biden should consider replacing Harris, she stated on CBS This Morning, “Well, let me first of all say, as the president has said, he intends to run, and if he does, I’ll be running with him.”

Despite her claim, recent survey results from Rasmussen Reports show that only 48% of likely voters believe that Harris should be Biden’s running mate if he runs for re-election, with 56% saying that Biden should not run for another term.
Despite the low poll numbers and criticism that Harris has faced during her time as Vice President, she says she remains committed to the job and takes it very seriously.
This week, Harris will travel to Georgia and Minnesota to meet with college students about their work on the climate crisis, while Biden will visit union workers in Madison, Wisconsin. Harris emphasized the importance of the work and said, “We are doing, again, historic work that’s about creating jobs but also investing in a clean energy economy.”
In June 2021, Harris was named to oversee the migrant crisis at the southern border and visited Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador to address the root causes of migration before visiting the border itself.
However, U.S. Customs and Border Protection statistics show that encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border have increased to record numbers under the Biden-Harris administration, with 251,487 encounters reported for December alone.
Despite these failures, Harris claims she remains focused on the work she believes the Biden administration is doing for the American people.
