(GoRealNewsNow.com) – HAPPENING NOW: Speaking in front of more than 2,000 people packed into a convention center for the Georgia Republican Party’s annual conference, former President Donald Trump spoke in apocalyptic terms as he said described the current state of politics heading into the 2024 Presidential Election as “the final battle.”

At one point. Trump told the gathering:
“In the end, they’re not coming after me. They’re coming after you — and I’m just standing in their way.
“The ridiculous and baseless indictment of me by the Biden administration’s weaponized Department of Injustice will go down as among the most horrific abuses of power in the history of our country. Many people have said that; Democrats have even said it. This vicious persecution is a travesty of justice.”
At another point, as you’ll see in the video clip below, while reading from a script, Trump stated:
“We are a failing nation. We are a nation in decline, and now these radical left lunatics want to interfere with our elections by using law enforcement. We’re not going to let it happen. It’s totally corrupt, and we can’t let it happen. This is the final battle. This is the most important election we’ve ever had.”
