School Principal Arrested – Inappropriate Behavior

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Police arrested the principal of Bixby High School in Oklahoma during the school’s Fall Dance at the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa due to his inappropriate behavior.

According to a local outlet, Mickey Replogle was suspended after reports that he smelled like alcohol and touched students inappropriately on the dance floor.

The school district announced his termination this week.

Citing jail records, the local outlet reported that Replogle was arrested for public intoxication. Later, the school district confirmed his arrest.

District superintendent Bob Miller, in a September 29 letter to parents, said, “Based on initial reports, I immediately suspended Mr. Replogle from all duties pending a thorough inquiry.”

He continued, “The district takes these allegations very seriously and is prepared to respond further once information is confirmed.”

Moreover, “several students” reported the behavior. On September 30, the district sent a follow-up letter to parents stating that Replogle would no longer be employed by the district.

“Mr. Replogle will no longer be employed by Bixby Schools,” the letter stated.

“However, our commitment to addressing this incident does not end here. The district will continue to actively support the Tulsa Police Department’s ongoing investigation,” it added.

The letter also mentioned that counseling would be available for students.

Furthermore, authorities suggested that anyone with additional information regarding the case is encouraged to contact the Tulsa Police Department, the district superintendent or a school administrator or counselor.

According to KFOR, Bixby Public Schools made headlines in August when Superintendent Miller filed a defamation lawsuit against State Superintendent Ryan Walters.
