Black and white prison cell bars in dim light.

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – A rampage killer has been sentenced to 100 years for a two-state shooting spree on Thanksgiving 2020 that took a fatal turn in Nevada.

32-year-old Christopher McDonnell received a 100-year prison sentence for his role in a deadly two-state shooting spree that left one man dead and several others injured.

The shocking incident unfolded on Thanksgiving Day 2020, when McDonnell, along with his brother Shawn and Shawn’s then-wife Kayleigh Lewis, embarked on an 11-hour reign of terror across Nevada and Arizona.

According to prosecutors, the trio’s murderous journey began with random shootings in Henderson, Nevada, where Kevin Mendiola Jr. lost his life when he stopped at a convenience store.

As if the murder was not heinous enough, the group continued their rampage into Arizona, where they engaged in further shootings, including one involving a police officer.

The spree finally came to an end near Parker, Arizona, after a high-speed chase resulted in the suspects’ vehicle rolling over.

In a courtroom filled with tension, the criminal pleaded guilty to over 20 felonies, including murder, attempted murder, and weapon charges.

The severity of his crimes was reflected in the sentence Clark County District Judge Tierra Jones handed down – a staggering 100 years behind bars.

This sentence ensures that McDonnell will not be eligible for parole until 2120, effectively removing him from society for the rest of his life.

As for Shawn McDonnell and Kayleigh Lewis, they are still awaiting trial for their roles in this heinous crime spree.
