Melania is now fully supportive of the campaign, especially after Ivanka Trump, his daughter, stepped back from the public eye. Melania is eager to resume her role as the first lady. A source shared with the Post that Trump appears to be “really beaming next to Melania.”
There is talk at Mar-a-Lago that the couple seems more connected than ever. Friends have noted that Melania’s increased involvement, along with Ivanka and Jared Kushner’s withdrawal, has made Trump more confident than before. The source revealed, “Trump says Melania will be by his side during the campaign more than she was last time.”
Melania appears ready to return to the White House.
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, she said that if she were to return, her priority would be “creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow, and thrive.”
She also expressed her support for her husband, stating, “My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration…He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.”
However, Melania did not comment on Trump’s ongoing legal troubles. This week, he was ordered to pay $5 million to author E. Jean Carroll after a jury found him guilty of defamation and sexual abuse.
