(GoRealNewsNow.com) – NEWS ALERT: A suspicious powder was sent to the Manhattan district attorney’s office in Lower Manhattan on Friday.
The powder was inside an envelope labeled “Alvin,” delivered by the US Postal Service.
NYPD officers quickly arrived at the scene, and nobody was hurt.
The powder was found to be not dangerous a few hours later.
This incident happened while DA Alvin Bragg’s office is working on a case against former President Donald Trump.
There were also two bomb threats earlier this week, though it’s not clear if they’re related to Trump’s case.
The powder was discovered after Trump threatened Bragg with “death and destruction” if he gets indicted in New York City over money paid to Stormy Daniels in 2016.
The DA told office staff that the potential threat was immediately contained, and experts found that there was no dangerous substance.
A court spokesperson said that security has been increased around the courthouse, and officers are staying alert.
