(GoRealNewsNow.com) – A heartbreaking case of medical negligence has emerged as a two-year-old boy was tragically misdiagnosed with constipation and it was later revealed that he had a severe infection that ended his life.

Two-year-old Hudson Cole Perrins tragically lost his life due to a misdiagnosis at a U.K. hospital, raising serious questions about the competence of socialized medicine and the need for accountability in the healthcare system.

Perris was a toddler with a complex medical history that included heart surgery at seven months and was taken to Wolverhampton’s New Cross Hospital with severe abdominal pain.

Despite his known bladder and kidney issues, doctors dismissed his symptoms as mere constipation.

The young boy’s family is now demanding answers, questioning why no further investigations were conducted and why a simple urine sample was not taken.

“As a family, we just want lessons to be learned and we don’t want any other family to go through everything that we’ve been through because it’s just devastating,” said Kayleigh Taundry, Hudson’s mother.

Hudson’s ordeal did not end with the initial misdiagnosis. After being treated for constipation with suppositories and an enema, he was discharged without any improvement in his condition.

As his pain intensified and he began experiencing seizures, his desperate family rushed him back to the hospital.

The true gravity of the situation only became apparent when Hudson was transferred to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and placed on life support.

The interim cause of death was identified as a brain injury caused by urosepsis – a condition that could have been treated if caught early.

“The ground’s just opened up and we’ve all just fallen into a black hole, and we don’t want this to happen again. He was one month from turning three,” the mother added.

An inquest into Hudson’s death is scheduled for today and December 9 at Black Country Coroner’s Court.

The family, supported by clinical negligence expert Michael Portman-Hann, hopes to uncover the truth behind this preventable tragedy.

“This is a tragic case that has left the family with so many questions and concerns. We will support them in any way we can to make sure no other family goes through this trauma,” Portman-Hann stated, highlighting the broader implications of this case for patient safety.

Shockingly, Hudson’s case is not isolated. In a disturbingly similar incident, two-year-old Marcie Tadman died due to neglect after doctors failed to diagnose sepsis at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

These cases underscore a systemic failure in the UK’s National Health Service, raising alarming questions about the quality of care in socialized medicine systems.
