(GoRealNewsNow.com) – In a development showcasing the true violent nature of today’s leftists, Los Angeles authorities have charged a local computer science professor with murdering an elderly Jewish protester during clashes between Israel supporters and defenders of Islamist terrorism.

50-year-old Loay Alnaji, a computer science professor at Ventura County Community College, has now been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of pro-Israel demonstrator Paul Kessler.

Alnaji was charged with “involuntary manslaughter and battery causing great body injury.”

According to a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department press release, he is in custody at Ventura County Jail on $1,000,000 bail.

“[The charges have] special allegations that Alnaji personally inflicted great bodily injury,” the release informed.

In early November, 69-year-old Kessler perished after getting injured in “a physical altercation with counter-protestor(s)” in Los Angeles, according to a statement of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

“During the altercation, Kessler fell backward and struck his head on the ground. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be blunt force head injury and the manner of death homicide,” the statement continued.

Kessler was defending Israel after on October 7, the Palestinian Arab Islamist terrorist group Hamas sadistically massacred over 1,400 people in a surprise invasion of the Jewish state.

The attack’s aftermath has seen shocking pro-terrorism demonstrations by leftists and Muslims in the United States and other Western nations.

Alnaji, initially an unnamed suspect at the scene, was taken into custody by police, who conducted a search of his home before releasing him, National Review reports.

Ventura County Sheriff Jim Fryhoff informed the media that Alnaji was cooperative during the investigation.

However, his identity was not disclosed publicly until a comprehensive investigation was completed.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles released a statement expressing their distress over Kessler’s death, alleging he was attacked with a megaphone by a pro-Palestinian protester.

“We are devastated to learn of the tragic death of an elderly Jewish man who was struck in the head by a megaphone wielded by a pro-Palestinian protestor in Westlake Village. Our hearts are with the family of the victim,” the organization stated.

It also highlighted that this incident is the fourth significant anti-Semitic crime in Los Angeles this year.
