(GoRealNewsNow.com) – A horrifying video circulating on social media showed toddlers in diapers being ejected during a severe car crash near one of the exits of a Texas highway.
Watch the video below this post.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), deputies were called to the scene of a serious accident involving two cars on the East Freeway at Freeport in Houston, Texas.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez tweeted that one of the vehicles “flipped over several times causing ejection.”
“The children stood up on their own, a good sign, just well scraped,” a witness wrote in the caption of the video posted on Facebook, which was translated into English.
Moreover, the video shows an overturned Jeep and a white car nearby with rear damage.
Two toddlers in diapers were seen in the middle of the highway as two adults rushed towards them.
One adult was comforting one of the children, while a man was seen picking up one child and hurrying to the other.
According to Gonzalez, two children and one adult were in the vehicle.
They were taken to a local hospital, but the occupants of the other vehicle involved in the crash were not injured.
HCSO Senior Deputy Thomas Gilliland said that the three individuals were in good condition as of this week.
However, it was not clear if the toddlers were in car seats at the time of the crash.
Additionally, several lanes on the freeway, including the Freeport service road, remained closed following the incident, as per Sheriff Gonzalez.
