(GoRealNewsNow.com) – According to a former US attorney general, the GOP-led House Oversight Committee probably “has the goods” showing President Joe Biden and his family were involved in large-scale corruption with foreign nationals.
US Rep. James Comer (R-KY), who chairs the Oversight Committee, may have evidence the Bidens reportedly received up to $30 million from abroad during Joe Biden’s two terms as vice president, says former Acting US Attorney General Matthew Whitaker.
Whitaker, who held the top Justice Department job from November 2018 to February 2019, stressed that thanks to his position, Comer could “track the money from … the people that sent it into the accounts.”
“I would pay very close attention to what [Comer is] doing in the House Oversight Committee, because … if Joe Biden and his family received $30 million, and that’s how they’ve paid for their lifestyle — since Joe Biden has been in public service for the last 40 plus years — I really think this is a big deal,” the former acting AG told Newsmax.
“There is a very much a theme, that the Biden family has been corrupt for many years,” he added.
Whitaker further revealed his belief that “live witnesses” would give the most vital testimony in the House panel’s investigation into the Bidens.
“They’re going to be the folks that were around these transactions that were part of these …shell companies that were laundering the money through to the Biden family,” he said.
The former acting US attorney general also stated that former President Donald Trump could give himself a pardon if he is convicted of the charges related to his handling of classified documents in his home in Florida.
“All you have to do is read Article 2 [of the Constitution]. I think it’s pretty clear that the pardon power is absolute and it’s vested in the president of the United States,” Whitaker said.
He expressed confidence that Trump would win the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
“I just don’t think that you can get away from the fact that it appears Donald Trump is going to be the winner of this once it’s all said and done,” he elaborated.
