Elon Musk Blocked Again? – Judge Interferes

Judge gavel, scales of justice, and law books.

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Trump patriots have been left angered after an Obama-appointed federal judge blocked Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from carrying out their mandated tasks.

The Maryland judge’s ruling threatens to derail DOGE’s mission to clean up government waste and fraud, raising questions about judicial obstruction against the Trump administration’s agenda.

U.S. District Judge Ellen Hollander issued a temporary restraining order to prevent Elon Musk’s DOGE team from accessing Social Security Administration (SSA) systems containing personally identifiable information.

The judge described DOGE’s efforts as a “fishing expedition” despite the well-documented history of fraud and abuse in federal benefit programs.

The judge went beyond merely restricting access. She ordered DOGE to destroy any non-anonymized data obtained and barred the team from installing or altering software in SSA systems.

DOGE is also required to remove any software installed since President Donald Trump began his second term.

The ruling effectively crippled the efficiency team’s ability to identify wasteful spending and potential fraud in one of the government’s largest entitlement programs.

Hollander’s decision came in response to a lawsuit filed by two labor unions and an advocacy group.

These organizations have clear political motivations to obstruct the Trump administration’s government reform efforts.

The Social Security system manages trillions of dollars in benefits, making it a prime target for those seeking to defraud American taxpayers.

“The DOGE Team is essentially engaged in a fishing expedition at SSA, in search of a fraud epidemic, based on little more than suspicion,” Hollander stated.

The Biden-appointed SSA acting commissioner appears to have initially cooperated with DOGE’s efficiency team.

However, testimony from a senior SSA official named Tiffany Flick was used to undermine their efforts.

Flick claimed DOGE received “unusual” access levels despite President Trump specifically creating the department to root out waste, fraud, and abuse across federal agencies.

DOGE’s work has already yielded significant results at other government agencies, including investigations at the Treasury Department and IRS.

The judge’s ruling imposes burdensome new requirements on DOGE, mandating that team members complete specific training and provide detailed explanations for accessing non-anonymized data.

These roadblocks appear designed to delay and obstruct DOGE’s mission rather than address legitimate privacy concerns.

This is not the first time the federal judiciary has attempted to obstruct DOGE’s critical government reform efforts.

Another federal judge previously tried to block DOGE’s work at the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The agency is infamous for wasteful foreign aid spending that could be better used to support American citizens.

President Trump established DOGE under Musk to lead the initiative to bring efficiency to bloated government agencies.

The establishment’s fierce resistance to DOGE’s work underscores how deeply entrenched waste and inefficiency have become in Washington’s bureaucracy.

It also shows how determined the establishment is to resist meaningful reform and accountability.
