(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Fuelling criticism over its failed strategies, the once-media powerhouse and liberal bias network CNN has imploded as its alarming ratings plunged, which prompted drastic economic measures such as massive layoffs and the firing of hundreds of high-paid TV stars.

See the tweet below.

The liberal network’s decline signals a rejection of its biased reporting and a victory for conservative values in the battle for America’s attention.

CEO Mark Thompson is leading a ruthless cost-cutting initiative that will result in the layoffs of hundreds of CNN employees, including on-camera anchors and talents.

This drastic measure comes as the network struggles to compete with Fox News and even MSNBC in election coverage ratings.

The layoffs will particularly affect CNN’s TV production staff, potentially reducing or eliminating entire divisions.

The remaining reporters will be forced to shoulder additional responsibilities, creating what one insider described as “an atmosphere of high stress and high anxiety.”

CNN’s ratings catastrophe was on full display during recent election coverage. While Fox News led with a commanding 10.3 million viewers, CNN mustered a mere 5.1 million – less than half of the 13.3 million it drew in 2016.

“In the next few months, I’m told, CNN will implement another round of layoffs that will impact hundreds of employees across the organization, including those whose TV production talents won’t necessarily be needed in the new digital-first landscape,” Puck News’ Dylan Byers stated.

Moreover, the network’s fall from grace is further evidenced by the departure of key figures like Chris Wallace, whose $8.5 million contract was not renewed.

Even CNN’s most recognizable faces are feeling the pinch, with Jake Tapper and Wolf Blitzer reportedly denied wage increases from their already inflated salaries of $7 million and $3 million, respectively.

These cuts follow previous layoffs in July, which saw about 100 employees—nearly 3% of CNN’s workforce—shown the door.

The network’s desperate attempts to stem the bleeding have included canceling underperforming shows like “CNN This Morning” and “King Charles,” but these moves have failed to reverse its declining fortunes.

As CNN scrambles to reinvent itself with a “digital-first” strategy, it is clear that American viewers are rejecting the network’s brand of liberal propaganda.

Even though CNN’s employees face an uncertain future, this shakeup serves as a wake-up call to media outlets that push a leftist agenda.
