(GoRealNewsNow.com) – BREAKING NOW: In a stunning development that has resulted in the Federal Bureau of Investigation being called in to investigate President Joe Biden, top secret classified documents — including some of the most sensitive intelligence gathered about foreign governments by sources and means that must be protected — have been located illegally stored in an office under the control of Biden.
Since former President Donald Trump is under criminal investigation for storing classified documents similarly, Congressional Republicans are demanding to know why Biden’s actions were covered up and not made public even though the illegally possessed documents were discovered one week before the November 2022 midterm elections.
As the New York Post recounts in “Classified documents found at Biden’s namesake think tank“:
“The Justice Department is looking into how a handful of classified documents from President Biden’s time as vice president ended up at the DC think tank that bears his name, the White House confirmed Monday night.
“A small number” of sensitive documents from the 80-year-old Biden’s time as Barack Obama’s No. 2 were located less than a week before last year’s midterm elections at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement.” [emphasis added]
The FBI is now involved and investigating the circumstances behind the illegal possession and storage of the documents in a clear violation of the Presidential Records Act.
The Presidential Records Act is the same statute that Trump is accused of violating and is under criminal investigation for, although no charges have yet been filed.
Another report just filed moments ago by the Post states:
“President Biden kept classified documents concerning Ukraine and Iran at his former think tank office, a new report revealed Tuesday as the president again declined to answer reporter questions about the topic…
“…CNN reported that 10 documents with classified markings and dated between 2013 and 2016 were found mixed in with Biden family papers — including information about the funeral arrangements for the president’s late son, Beau, who died in 2015. Some of the documents were reportedly labeled “top secret,” the highest level of government classification.” [emphasis added]
Reportedly, the time period involving some of the documents coincides with when Hunter Biden was involved with a Ukrainian company in a deal that has raised legal questions and continues to be a matter allegedly under investigation and one that Republicans in the United States House of Representatives intent to investigate now that they control that congressional chamber.
