This sweeping act of nepotism annuls Hunter’s convictions, including making false statements in a gun purchase and possession of a firearm as an unlawful user of controlled substances.

Joe claimed his son was “selectively and unfairly prosecuted,” describing the situation as a “miscarriage of justice.”

This rhetoric contradicts his previous statements, in which he promised not to interfere with the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) decision-making.

The timing of this pardon is particularly suspicious, coming just as Hunter faced potential sentences of up to 17 years for tax charges and 25 years for gun-related charges.

Joe stated, “Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter. From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”

Yet, he had previously stated, “I am not going to do anything. I will abide by the jury’s decision.”

But now Americans witnessed a complete reversal of his word, proving once again that the Biden family cannot be trusted.

This presidential overreach effectively nullified the jury’s decision, which deliberated for three hours over two days before reaching a guilty verdict.

This action undermines the judicial process and sends a dangerous message that the elite can escape consequences for their actions.

In addition, the White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, had previously denied any plans for a pardon.
