BREAKING: Arrest Warrant Issued

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – BREAKING NEWS NOW: Just moments ago, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The court cited Putin’s alleged involvement in the abduction of Ukrainian children.

The warrant was issued today after the ICC declared there are “reasonable grounds to believe that each suspect bears responsibility for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population and that of unlawful transfer of population from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation, in prejudice of Ukrainian children.”

Additionally, the ICC issued a warrant for the arrest of Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, the commissioner for children’s rights, in the office of the Russian president on similar charges.

“The decisions of the International Criminal Court have no meaning for our country, including from a legal point of view,” Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on her Telegram channel after the ICC’s announcement.

It should be noted the United States is not a member of the ICC, and historically it does not assist or acknowledge the authority of the judicial body.

As for Putin, the ICC wrote Putin “is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.”
