(GoRealNewsNow.com) – A high-profile office of the US Defense Department has “admitted” that UFOs – in the form of “metallic orb” unidentified flying objects – have been observed all over the globe.
The revelation about the frequent appearance of a specific type of UFO came from Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, the director of the DOD’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
The AARO was established by the Pentagon in July 2022 to “detect, identify and attribute objects of interest.”
According to Kirkpatrick, the possibly alien “metallic orbs” have been seen “all over the world.”
He spoke to reporters during the first-ever public briefing on UFOs by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
“We see these all over the world, and we see these making very interesting apparent maneuvers,” the top Pentagon official stated, as cited by Newsmax.
He noted that the Defense Department collaborated closely with NASA to study the unknown aircraft.
For the first time, Kirkpatrick disclosed that between 2% and 5% of the cases in AARO’s database on UFOs have been proven to be legitimate anomalies. The database contains about 800 cases.
He revealed his institution had plans to launch “dedicated sensors” explicitly designed for “unidentified anomalous phenomenon” (UAP) sightings.
Thus, the new equipment independent in question will be separate from the existing military sensors, and its job will be to seek out UFOs specifically.
The press conference also featured David Spergel, who leads NASA’s investigative team into UFOs.
He described the current situation in data collection on UFOs as “fragmented across various agencies” and “unsystematic.”
Spergel is one of the 16 members of NASA’s group put together a year ago to look into unclassified UFO sightings and additional data collected on the matter compiled by civilian government and commercial organizations.
While previous investigations into “alien” aircraft were carried out by officials of the military, national security, and intelligence agencies, the study by Spergel’s group is the first UFO probe by the space agency, according to a Daily Mail report.
The report points out that both the Defense Department and NASA have shied away from attributing even “legitimate anomalies” to extraterrestrial origin or factors.
Accordingly, they have referred to UFOs as UAPs (“unidentified anomalous phenomenon”)
