(GoRealNewsNow.com) – The Biden-Harris administration’s incompetence strikes again as the U.S. military grounds its entire V-22 Osprey fleet over safety concerns tied to weakened metal components causing engine failures.

This grounding reignites debates around metal fatigue, focusing on the troubling X-53 VIMVAR component. As the investigation progresses, the call for thorough evaluations grows louder among lawmakers and military personnel.

Vice Admiral Carl Chebi recommended the operational pause as a precautionary measure, but questions arose about why the action took so long.

“Today, Naval Air Forces directed an operational pause for all U.S. Navy CMV-22B Ospreys following a recommendation from Naval Air Systems Command,” Commander Tim Hawkins said in a statement.

He added, “The operational pause allows us to determine if any additional safety measures are necessary.”

A Marine Corps spokesperson also said that the Marine Corps implemented a 96-hour operational pause “for non-essential flight operations” of their MV-22 Osprey fleet, which started on December 6.

Once touted as a marvel of modern military technology, the Osprey aircraft has faced increasing safety issues over the past five years.

Parts are wearing out faster than expected, and design flaws have contributed to numerous accidents.

Lawmakers have been sounding the alarm for months. They have urged Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to ground the Osprey fleet until safety and design issues are addressed.

Nevertheless, like many in this administration, Austin seems more concerned with pushing woke agendas than ensuring the military’s equipment is safe and reliable.

In addition, a wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against the Osprey’s manufacturers following a crash that killed five Marines in June 2022.

The lawsuit accuses Bell Textron, Boeing, and Rolls-Royce of negligence and misleading statements about the aircraft’s safety.

Since the Osprey’s introduction three decades ago, there have been 64 fatalities and 93 injuries in crashes.

Each of these deaths is a tragedy that could have been prevented with proper oversight and maintenance.

The Osprey’s unique design, which allows for both helicopter and airplane flight modes, contributes to its accident rate.

Yet, that is no excuse for the systemic failures that have led to this point.

The ongoing investigations into Osprey crashes in Australia and Japan further highlight the global implications of this debacle.
