Biden’s Migrant Program – MASSIVE Fraud Exposed!

MIGRANTS MASSED AT THE BORDER

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – An internal audit has revealed that the Biden administration’s program allowing illegals to enter the U.S. without a visa has become a massive gateway for fraudsters to steal Americans’ identities.

This program permits aliens from Ukraine, Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela to enter the U.S. with a U.S.-based sponsor.

However, the system is riddled with loopholes that make it easy for fraudsters to exploit it.

Michael Mayhew, leader of the Immigration Records and Identity Services division at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services detailed the issues in a 23-page audit.

Mayhew’s audit initially intended only for senior agency leaders, exposed that the process of approving sponsors is so flawed that fraud goes undetected.

“Since there is little to no barrier to entry to file … there is a lot of fraud, exploitation, and duplicative filings that have occurred,” Mayhew stated in the audit.

The audit exposed how gang members and scammers are applying to be sponsors using the names of deceased individuals.

Due to a lack of adequate staffing, the program fails to catch these fraudulent activities, enabling scammers to “victimize” migrants and steal identities.

In one extreme case, a fraudster submitted an application using the passport number of former First Lady Michelle Obama.

After Mayhew suggested 40 changes to the program to curb the fraud, the administration paused the initiative. The program was relaunched late last month after some of Mayhew’s recommendations were implemented.

In addition, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated:

“Together with our existing rigorous vetting of potential beneficiaries seeking to travel to the United States, these new procedures for supporters have strengthened the integrity of these processes and will help protect against exploitation of beneficiaries.”

However, former senior agency officials criticized the program, saying it was flawed from the start.

“This administration is more interested in putting people through than it is in vetting for the correct individuals,” said Emilio Gonzalez, who led USCIS during the Bush administration, after reviewing portions of the internal report shared by the Times.

CBS News reported that the program allows American citizens, residents, and others with legal immigration status in the U.S. to sponsor migrants from those countries, provided they agree to financially support them.

Migrants under this program receive two-year work permits under humanitarian parole authority.
