Another DELAY?! Pushed Back to 2026

(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Exposing the agency’s ongoing struggles, NASA revealed that it was once again delaying its Artemis lunar mission to April 2026.

As China races to land on the moon by 2030, NASA’s repeated failures threaten national security and technological leadership.

The delay, initially scheduled for September 2025, stems from issues with the spacecraft’s heat shield discovered after its test flight two years ago.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson attempted to downplay the setback, urging contractors to “double-down” on their efforts.

However, this does not erase the fact that the program has a history of missed deadlines and ballooning costs.

While NASA fumbles, China steadily advances its lunar ambitions. The communist regime seeks to have its astronauts on the moon by 2030, potentially beating America back to the satellite.

The Artemis program, praised as a follow-up to the iconic Apollo missions, has so far only managed to send an empty Orion capsule around the moon in 2022.

Even that modest achievement was overshadowed by the damage to the heat shield upon reentry, highlighting the technical challenges that continue to plague the program.

“Delays are agonizing and slowing down is agonizing and it’s not what we like to do,” said Astronaut Reid Wiseman.

As delays mount and costs spiral, NASA’s bureaucratic approach has been labeled as ill-suited to the quick pace of modern space exploration.

The agency’s inability to meet deadlines jeopardizes America’s return to the moon and threatens the country’s national prestige and technological edge in the face of growing Chinese ambitions.
