(GoRealNewsNow.com) – Americans are increasingly frustrated with open border policies, as a new poll revealed that 57% support mass deportations of illegal aliens under President-elect Donald Trump’s leadership.

See the tweet below.

The Scripps News-Ipsos poll, conducted from September 13 to September 15, surveyed 1,027 adults and found that 54% of respondents “strongly” or “somewhat” support mass deportation.

This surge in support for tougher immigration policies cuts across demographic lines, with significant increases among various groups.

Perhaps most telling is the rise in support among nonwhite voters. A Fox News poll indicated that 57% of nonwhite voters now favor deportation, a dramatic jump from 33% in 2015.

Meanwhile, the partisan divide on this issue is understandable. An overwhelming 86% of Republicans and 58% of Independents back the policy, while only 25% of Democrats agree.

However, even Democrat support for deportations has risen to 42% from 34% in 2015, indicating a growing consensus across the political spectrum.

Immigration has emerged as a top political issue, ranking second in priority for respondents at 39%, just behind inflation at 57%.

This reflects the growing concern among Americans about the impact of unchecked illegal immigration on the economy, security, and national identity.

While some expressed concerns about the potential economic impacts of mass deportations, many Americans seem willing to accept short-term challenges for the long-term benefit of enforcing immigration laws.

Despite these economic concerns, the overwhelming support for deportation suggests that Americans prioritize national security and the rule of law over potential short-term economic disruptions.
